Styled Shoot at The Mosaic Centre, seen in Bridal Fantasy 2017

I was honoured to have some of my second shooter work for Romy Young Photography included in the final layout of the two page featurette in the 2017 Bridal Fantasy magazine. It was such a great experience to come along and enjoy the hard work of amazing wedding vendors and learn from a consummate pro like Romy, and my work being included in the final spread was icing on the cake. Here’s a mix of my favourite behind the scenes shots and published images with my personal edit. Thanks again to all the wonderful pros involved, and the models for being a hoot to work with.

One more special note… ask Studio Bloom what flowers were used in the (future) bride’s hair… they smelled wonderful, and I had a terrible cold, so the smell must have been unbelievable.

Vintage Pastel Wedding with Geek Culture Details

If you like Lego and Star Wars, we will probably get along pretty well. This funny and smart couple were just lovely to photograph, and we all had a fun time exploring the McKay School, which is bookable for wedding photos through the City of Edmonton, but free to visit anytime to enjoy a bit of history! The pastels palette of the florals and the dresses was spot on, and such a great fit for a location full of antiques like the school.

This album features my second shooter work for the fantastic Heather Stone of Tulle and Tweed Photography.

Diya & Nada’s Elegant Arabic Couture Wedding

This beautiful bride reminded me of Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” just the right amount… the same prima ballerina-like perfection. Her stunning couture dress felt like it stepped off a movie screen, and their reception was fit for Hollywood royalty, run beautifully by the Fantasyland Hotel in Edmonton, who always put on a great event.

Looking like silver screen stars didn’t overpower the family love though, and I hope you enjoy all the teary and joyful moments.

This album features my work as a second shooter, creating memories for Cheers Photography, and their beautiful clients. Lead photographer is the always fun and fabulous Romy Young.
